Description
The ZIP Tile made by Kiktronik is an 8×8 array of LEDs. The LEDs are addressable, which means that each LED can be programmed separately to have a specific color or behavior. You can program it to flash, fade, or scroll text and images, and to display any color. The ZIP Tile attaches to the micro:bit using 5 screws and 5 plastic spacers. You can attach several ZIP Tiles to make even bigger displays.
You can use MakeCode or MicroPython to program the scroll:bit. There is a small library that you can add to your Makecode project file to be able to program this add-on.
